For some, restoring smoothness and tautness might be fully achievable with dermal filler injections, though this would, of course, require touch-up appointments for lasting results.
In cases where the patient’s wrinkles and sagging skin are severe, wrinkle fillers might not be enough, and a more permanent solution may be necessary. A facelift might be a good course of action if the skin has lost too much elasticity and the facial structure has lost too much volume to be filled out with dermal fillers.
