You can typically still breastfeed after a breast reduction but this would depend on measurements from the chest wall to the nipple. Dr Turkle will take these measurements at your consultation and will let you know if breast feeding should be possible. However, some women choose to wait to have a breast reduction until they’re done having children as this may cause further changes to the breasts that we can help to correct during surgery.
