Breast augmentation is a type of cosmetic surgery that involves inserting implants to increase the size and improve the shape of breasts. These implants are made from either saline or silicone. There are various consistencies of silicone including cohesive or “gummy” options.
During an in-depth consultation, we use VECTRA 3D technology to help patients visualize the results from their chosen implants. The device scans the body and shows what the patient’s body will look like after implants.
For the actual surgery, the procedure only takes about 1 hour. Patients can expect a downtime of 1 to 5 days, with full recovery taking about 6 weeks. There is no universal timeline, each patient is different. Your provider will discuss your unique care plan with you and build a treatment protocol that prioritizes your comfort and your results.
