Is the breast implant placed above or below the chest muscle?

A pocket is created either underneath the breast tissue or underneath the chest wall muscle. The breast implants are then placed in this pocket.  Most commonly, the implant is placed under the muscle.  Exact placement of a breast implant will depend on your individual body type and overall aesthetic goals. While both of these placements are options, one may work better than the other for your individual needs.
